Corrections and editorial questions

What to include when a guide needs a correction, and where to read more about how this site is put together.

What a useful correction includes

Name the page address, quote the sentence or claim that needs attention, and add a source that supports the change. For product advice, include the product name and region, because availability and formulations vary.

Check the primary source first

A product label, rulebook or manufacturer’s page takes priority over a general guide. If a guide conflicts with the current instructions for the product in front of you, follow those instructions.
